Category: DPS

Unlock: 50,000 Coins

Detection: Hidden, Flying, Lead

Placement Limit: 5 per player

Tier Rating: S

Total Upgrade Cost: $73,700

Golden Crook Boss upgrades base Crook Boss into a tower that both attacks directly and spawns two types of Goon units to fight independently — Golden Pistol Goons from the start, and tougher Golden Tommy Goons from Level 3. Its gun damage alone is respectable, but its real DPS comes from stacking multiple spawned units alongside the tower's own attacks, and by max level it covers Hidden, Flying, and Lead detection between the tower and its units combined.

4 50000 42 0.12 22 350

Note: Tower DPS 350.0 (max level). Golden Tommy Goon 1 replaced by Golden Tommy Goon 2 (HP300, dmg6, gun DPS50.00, ram DPS9.68, Hidden+Flying detection, limit3/tower). Feeds experience toward evolving into Kingpin (20 Evolution Levels; this page states base EXP 50/growth rate 1.09 for that mechanic, which differs from Kingpin's own page value of 75/1.075 — flagged as a wiki inconsistency; skip cost stated here as 599 Robux).

How to Get Golden Crook Boss

Unlock base Crook Boss (reach Level 30, or pay 300 Robux), then apply the Golden Perk for 50,000 Coins via the Golden Crate, or 55,000 Coins from the Daily Store.

Is Golden Crook Boss Worth It?

Its most expensive Golden tower to fully upgrade ($73,700 cumulative), but it pays off with a combination of direct DPS, unit-based damage, and full detection coverage across enemy types.

Placement is capped at 5 per player, so it rewards focused investment in a few copies rather than spreading thin.

Its main long-term draw is feeding into Kingpin, since a well-leveled Golden Crook Boss carries its unit-spawning identity forward into the evolved tower.

Best Loadouts With Golden Crook Boss

Works well as a standalone DPS-plus-unit tower without needing much detection support, since it covers Hidden/Flying/Lead by max level.

Benefits from unit-buffing support towers (like Commander or Warden) since a meaningful share of its total output comes from its spawned Goons.
