Boomerang — Tower Defense Simulator Guide
Category: DPS
Unlock: 300 Coins
Detection: Flying
Placement Limit: 12 per player
Tier Rating: D
Total Upgrade Cost: $11,200
Boomerang is a cheap ricochet tower: each throw bounces between multiple enemies, dealing full damage on every bounce rather than splitting damage between targets. That makes it especially strong against grouped or looping enemy paths, since a single throw can rack up a lot of total damage across several hits. From Level 3 it throws two boomerangs per volley instead of one, further multiplying its potential hit count.

How to Get Boomerang
Unlocked for 300 Coins, available from the very start of the game with no other requirements.
Is Boomerang Worth It?
Strong value-for-money early tower thanks to its low cost and ability to hit multiple enemies per throw at full damage each.
Its lack of Hidden detection at every level is a real limitation, so it needs pairing with a Hidden-detecting tower to stay useful past the early game.
Scales reasonably well into the mid-game once it reaches Level 3-4, with max-level DPS able to reach into the hundreds when all ricochets connect.

Best Loadouts With Boomerang
Pairs well with Hidden-detecting towers (like Ranger or Toxic Gunner) since it cannot see Hidden enemies on its own.
Effective on maps with tight loops or clustered paths where its ricochet bounces can chain between several enemies in a row.
